To Avigdors helping hand,
There’s a reason why your title does justice. You are exactly what it means to be a helping hand. There are so many other organizations out there that make you beg or make you feel less than what you are because of the situation people are in. In this case your organization does the opposite. You are ready to help with open hands and not looking to turn people away but looking to find more people who lost a parent in the same situation that needs help and is ready to help right away. I am so impressed and overwhelmed with how amazing this organization handles themselves. You are a bunch of tzadikim. I want to personally thank everyone of you for helping out on the burden of making a wedding and being able to breathe a lot more than I was yesterday. Hashem is amazing and you should be Zoche to keep doing what you’re doing. Hashem should keep guiding you and giving you the strength. One day I hope to be on the giving side soon and be able to repay you not because I feel entitled but because I want to be part of this amazing mitzvah and I know that everyone your giving really needs it.
Thank you again for everything.

Dear Avigdor’s Helping Hand,
This is __________ __________. I wanted to send you a quick note and a huge thank you for the incredibly special work that you do. I understand that you all put in your time and energy as volunteers to help people like me, at a time in our lives when we really do need support and to feel less alone in the world. Gavi, the volunteer who was assigned to my case, truly did such a mitzvah. He made the process as easy as possible for me at a time when every single thing that needs to be done is tinged with pain and sadness. Gavi added light into the darkness. You have all helped me to worry a little less about providing for my family’s immediate needs just when life as we knew it crumbled around us. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Here’s hoping that Hashem grants you A LOT of brownie points for the amazing good deeds that you do for families in need, (mine included,) each and every day.
Sincerely,
__________ __________
To The Esteemed AHH Committee,
There are no words to express my deepest appreciation to you for your financial assistance in your mitzvah of hachnasas kallah.
Walking a yesoma daughter down to her chupa, without her mother, is heartbreaking.
A girl wants nothing more than her mother to be at her side, encircling her, smiling, proud and supportive.
To not have your mother there in the middle, for the very first dance, creates a void that can’t be filled. To celebrate a chasuna, the most exciting and important day in your life, with a shortage of money to pay for the expenses, adds yet another layer of emotional anguish.
Your $7,000 gift allowed my daughter to have a kovod’dick wedding and enjoy her special day.
In the zechus of the inspired volunteer work that you do, bringing simcha to yesomim‘s weddings, may Hashem grant you many simchas in your families, in good health!
Klal Yisroel is fortunate to have such a group of yidden that are members of the AHH committee. Mi k’amcha Yisroel.
Continued bracha v’hatzlacha,

B’h 15 of Tammuz, 5783
To: Baruch Amsel, and all the volunteers and workers at AVIGDOR’s HELPING HAND.
We just finished with the Sheva Brochos of my son ________ and finally have a few minutes. The first thing we would like to do is express a heartfelt THANK YOU!!!! to all those who have extended themselves in such a beautiful way to help make our Chasuna happen!!!
Words will not suffice to express our thanks and deep felt appreciation for your generous gift to help us make our wedding this past Rosh Chodesh Tammuz in Brooklyn.
This is so so beautiful and it is Chasdei Hashem!!
For weeks before the wedding we were trying to figure out how in the world we would cover the expenses for the Chasuna, and we were definitely a bit nervous to say the least, since it was always my husband who used to take care of the weddings and now he is not around to give a hand…
Thank you so so much responding in such a kind and generous way giving us a real Bitachon boost!!
It is very heartwarming to see such a beautiful expression of Ahavat Yisroel, from people who do not even know us!!Your donation was a HUGE present from Hashem showing us that Beezras Hashem things can work out for the best!!
It gives us the strength to continue working on the rest!!!.Please express a personal thank you to every single one of your volunteers and workers who I am sure toil tirelessly to try to put together funds to help these orphans.
We know firsthand that it is not easy and a lot of hard work and therefore appreciate it even more!!You have given our entire family more Menuchas Hanefesh to be able to enjoy the Chasuna from a good place, with real peace of mind, knowing the expenses will be taken care of.
May Hashem Bentch every single one of you with Gezunt, Brochos Ad Bli Day in Ruchnius and Gashmius and only continued Bsuros Tovos and Hatzlacha Raba for your personal families and for your organization .
Mrs. ________ ________,
in name of the Choson and entire family
ear volunteers and all the staff of Avigdor’s Helping Hand,
Words can not express the gratitude this widow has for your generosity and swift aid. As a mother of five children with only one daughter to marry, it seemed impossible to even have a wedding.
With Hashems help and amazing, generous, caring and compassionate people of Avigdor’s Helping Hand my only daughter is on her way to be a kala. The whole process of applying and receiving the generous check took less than a week!!! Wow how amazing it was to actually see the check and Hashems hand in all the ahava and hessed this organization spreads to all Am Israel.
May Hashem bless you all and grant you all long, happy and healthy lives so that you can continue your mission! May all the zehut of the hessed, joy and love that this organization provides bring us closer to Hakadosh Barechu and the coming of Mashiach.
Hakarat Hatov,
