To whom this may concern at Avigdor’s Helping Hand,
Rachel’s Place is a home for runaway and homeless girls in our community. There are several women who are dedicated to providing a home for girls who for one reason or another cannot live at home . We offer safe haven and a program aimed at stabilizing each girl and moving her on to a more viable existence. ________ was one such girl. After many years of hard work by her and the community, she emerged a wonderful young woman and a source of nachas to us all. And then came this important moment in her life, the time that every girl dreams of, her wedding. Once again she was homeless. How will this happen? Who will be there to support her as all kallahs are? Avigdor’s Helping Hand was there to parent her. Together with a few community members Avigdor’s Helping Hand is walking this literal and figurative yesoma down the aisle. While ________’s story is confidential and can only be shared when necessary and with her permission, in the world of zechusim what you have done is public and known where it really counts.
May you have the wherewithal to continue your amazing work for those who need it. Thank you also for giving the women who undertook this financial burden a place to turn. You really made this wedding happen.
