To the selfless Hero’s of AHH,
Y______, was a young boy in my class just a few years ago. His father tragically passed away from a sudden heart attack, leaving his Almana, Mrs. O, alone and in a difficult financial situation. Recently, her daughter became engaged and Mrs O needed financial assistance with the wedding costs. Her case file was not simple to process. She is a Russian immigrant, without a fluent command of English and struggled filing out paper work and completing her applications. The case worker who handled her file, did so with great sensitivity, patience and dedication, all while preserving her dignity. Despite the unique challenges of the situation, he was able to assist her in the most caring and professional manner. We are deeply grateful for this assistance and are in awe of the holy work and special Chesed that you do. Unassuming. No publicity or fanfare. Pure Chesed with love.
